Andrea M. Doncaster
Senior Engineer - Principal
Andrea Doncaster began tertiary education at Acadia University before attending the Technical University of Nova Scotia, where she earned both a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering.
Andrea worked in the private sector for 15 years before deciding to strike out on her own. The Engineering Department of Dalhousie University hired Andrea as an Engineer-in-Residence to bring real world experience to the classroom.
The list of awards and accolades are significant. She has also been awarded Engineer of the Year for the Lumber Board for 2019, as well as collaborations on several Lieutenant Governor Award winning projects. Currently she is also serving as a voting member on the Structural Design Committee of the Canadian Commission on Building and Fire Codes
Jessica Goodland began her education in the field of Architecture at the University of Manitoba. After working with firms in Toronto, Jessica changed her focus and pursued Engineering at Saint Mary's University and then at Dalhousie University. During work terms Jessica worked for the Yukon Government on a highway project and with Andrea Doncaster Engineering in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
